1. Discovery
The initial phase of any project is research—from the well-documented to the anecdotal to the  educated guesses, we look closely at your target audience and how they react to the world.

2. Strategy
With a pile of data sitting in front of us, we will then lead you in a message strategy and design strategy session. This process involves, goldfoot asking some simple yet difficult questions about your audience, and what you'd like to communicate to them.

3. Concept Development
With an agreed-upon strategy in place, we get to work developing concepts. We explore the entire spectrum of concepts that emerge from the research and strategy.

4. Design and Tactical Exploration
Key concepts that surfaced in the earlier phases are rendered in an extensive visual exploration. A wide array of ideas are explored, guided by strategic objectives and the information shaped from the research.

5. Realization
In this final phase, we work with our printing and engineering partners to ensure the end product lives up to the promise of the concept.

At goldfoot, we feel that solutions unveil themselves through a thorough process of investigation, solid strategy and testing.

We work with you to develop an intelligent strategy that is above all else, client-centric. Focusing on your clients, we explore language, visual cues, culture and consumer behavior. From this information to develop a solid, disciplined strategy that we all agree on.

From the strategy comes tactics. We then assemble a team of skilled designers, photographers, writers, art directors, PR gurus, and code monkeys to develop the strategically accurate unexpected.

Whether your project is large or small, we employ a phased approach to problem-solving. The following progression outlines our typical approach:
